This is a Photography Blog to show the growth and progress of my service dog in training. He is a Golden Retriever working towards having a very important job of helping the disabled.

Hi! I just got a goldendoodle 2 months ago and I am truly in love with her. How are you going to be able to give up this precious boy? I've thought about doing my local pilot program, and really want too, but I want to know what it's like having to give them away.

It’s of course very hard! We get attached and fall in love, but we also go into the program knowing that the dog is not ours and that we will ultimately be giving them up. It’s a long, hard, and rewarding journey, but all of the formal training updates we get are always so encouraging and then that moment when you get to see the dog you raise getting matched with his/her new handler is the best feeling in the world to know that you were a part of giving someone that second chance and hero! Many times the handlers will give their information to the puppy raisers so that you can continue to keep in touch with them and see all the amazing things the dog will do!

I love him sooo much! I am so glad we were able to get some photos done while he is still a puppy!

Some photos from our puppy photoshoot!

I found these cute planter tires in my backyard and thought it would be a cute idea to take photos of him each week to see how much he grows! Here he is at 3 months.
